Budget Banners approached Web SEO in January 2014 to help them grow their organic online presence. They also believed that they had a Google penalty due to SPAM backlinks that were built in the past.


The initial focus on this campaign was to get rid of the SPAM backlinks. We also needed to build an SEO strategy that would help generate long-term exposure on Google, position the brand as an authority in the industry and convert website visitors into paying customers.

What we did

When we started working with Budget Banners their website was designed using basic HTML code. Our first step was to delete as many of the SPAM backlinks as possible and then disavow the rest. We moved the site across to a WordPress portal without any traffic/ranking loss. We optimised their site to be search engine friendly and added relevant content. Since moving the website to WordPress we have seen a constant growth in organic traffic as well as monthly enquiries.

Their rankings as well as traffic have continued to increase over the past 3 1/2 years.
