Blinds Direct, South Africa’s first online custom blinds store approached Web SEO in October 2013 to help them grow their organic online presence.

Objectives

Our focus on this campaign was to increase the organic traffic and visibility on Google. We needed to build an SEO strategy that would help generate long-term exposure on Google, position the brand as an authority in the industry and convert website visitors into paying customers.

What we did

When we started with Blinds Direct their website was designed using a custom portal that was not very search engine friendly. We moved the site across to a WordPress portal without any traffic/ranking loss. We did this by optimising the site to be search engine friendly as well as adding related content. Since moving the website to WordPress we have seen a constant growth in organic traffic as well as monthly sales on their eCommerce store.

Over the past 3 years they have seen tremendous growth in both rankings and traffic.
